Being a wedding photographer means I rarely talk about my personal work. Today’s photography post showcases my wedding related work, as a photographer. This is Part 1. Part 2, tomorrow. A few months back you saw the Award Winning Images from the first half of the year. I’ve continued to enter the monthly competitions organised by the Societies of Wedding and Portrait Professionals. The images, below, have all won awards, over the last 3 months, in a whole host of categories, primarily in wedding photojounalism, fashion and portraiture.
With Lytham and Blackpool, so close by, the Lancashire coast offers plenty of photographic opportunities and it’s no coincidence that 4, out of the 11 images, were taken near or on a beach. Tomorrow you’ll see more images, non-wedding related this time, with around 50% taken near the sea.
Six out of the eleven are in black and white. A mixture of colour and black and white lends to my style of photography.
The Villa, at Wrea Green, Tatton Park, near Manchester, and The Great Hall at Mains, near Cleveleys all feature here.
Enjoy.

Lovely images and congratulations. I must enter more SWPP comps myself :)
