As a photographer and a father of two young daughters, I tend to do a lot of family and childrens photography. If you have kids, you understand that all they want to do is play. That is how I normally set up my shoots when photographing children. It’s not a boring studio environment with nothing to do. Nope. We shoot at their homes, outside at the beaches, in parks and in this instance Caer Rhun Hall. As you may recall from part 1 of the shoot (Click here if missed it), we ended on a sort of cliff hanger. Part 2 takes over from part 1 and introduces you to Claire and Jason’s beautiful, musically talented and highly dance trained daughter.
Part 2 was never planned. We had planned to do 2 shoots. Part 1 you’ve already seen, with Gina and Craig, and the second one was planned with Claire, Jason and their daughter. As it happened, we had time between getting hair done and the cross over of the shoots. I’m not one for standing still when it comes to photographing. I work fast. It’s what I do. This shoot was no exception. In between the moments we had, I photographed Claire and Jason’s daughter. I let her just be herself (as I always do in all my shoots) and directed her accordingly. She was a star.
I hope I’ve captured a sense of who this little girl is at this moment in time. It’s a testament to her wonderful parents…who incidentally will be featured in the final part of the trilogy, later this week.
As always, enjoy.

Simply lovely. I wish I had shots like these of my daughter when she was younger. Love the window portraits especially.
